Announcing The Ascent Vision Dinner
PORTLAND, Oregon — Chesterton Academy of Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati is pleased to announce that The Ascent Vision Dinner will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Holiday Inn Portland — Columbia Riverfront. This gala evening celebrates what a faith-filled, classical education makes possible for high school students across the Portland Metro Area.
The Vision Dinner is one of the most important ways the community comes together to support the more than $250,000 in financial assistance the school provides to Chesterton Frassati students each year. These efforts ensure that a joyful, Catholic education remains accessible to families, with support directed toward tuition, operations, and the continued growth of the school.
Over the course of the evening, guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, and dancing, along with student performances, an auction, and a dynamic keynote address. The program will highlight the life of the school—offering a glimpse into the joy, friendship, and intellectual formation that define the Chesterton experience—and invite guests to take part in its continued growth.
“The Vision Dinner is a celebration of where we are and where we’re headed. As we grow and step into a new chapter, we’re focused on stewarding our resources well and keeping our attention on what matters most: our students and their formation,” said Jennifer Martin, Director of Development. “We’re so grateful for this community and look forward to a joyful evening together.”
Chesterton Frassati is committed to its mission of forming joyful leaders and saints as the only classical Catholic high school in the Portland Metro Area—and soon the only Catholic high school serving East Portland, Gresham, and the Gorge.

About Chesterton Academy of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati
Chesterton Academy of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati is a classical Catholic high school serving grades 9-12 in the Portland Metro Area. It is member of the Chesterton Schools Network, named for the Englishman Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874 - 1936). G.K. Chesterton was considered one of the world’s most outstanding men of letters in the early 20th century. The school has chosen him for its patron because he not only represents the fullness of faith and reason, but also Catholic joy and common sense.
The Portland campus is named for St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, a 20th-century Italian saint known for his dedication to aiding the poor in his home town of Turin. He is the patron saint of mountaineers, students, and Catholic youth.
