Chesterton — The Obvious Choice

For me, Chesterton Academy was a choice that seemed obvious going into Freshman Year. It provided a seamless transition from one classically-minded school rooted in the Catholic Faith, Holy Family Academy, to another. In my senior year now, I cannot express how glad I am that the vibrant culture of constructive argument at Chesterton Academy is where I found my high school home.

The greatness of the Classical Catholic education found at Chesterton is that it allows a student to study the great works of literature and the great thinkers found throughout the entirety of Western Civilization, all through a joyfully orthodox Catholic lens. In my opinion, it wonderfully merges the focus of the Renaissance scholarly movement, getting back to the ancient sources and studying them directly, with the emphasis of the Scholastic movement, teaching a systematic method of thought emphasizing logic.

I would recommend Chesterton Academy to other young men and women, because I truly believe that it forms the whole person as any true and complete form of education should. It does not just cultivate a clever group of students who can solve logic puzzles with ease, but aims to see each and every student develop a closer and deeper relationship with our Triune God in hopes of eternal salvation.
