Accessing OMSI while I-5 southbound is closed:

For up to five weeks beginning Sept 11, all lanes of I-5 southbound between I-405 and I-84 will be closed. Please plan ahead and leave extra time if driving.  

During the closure, OMSI will be open and ready for you!

Getting to OMSI:

• The OMSI exits via I-84 west and I-5 north will remain open.

• OMSI has its own stop on Trimet and the Portland Streetcar. There is a train arriving and departing from the OMSI stop every 15 minutes.

• The Hawthorne and Morrison Bridges have exits to Water Ave when traveling from downtown.
